no difference... install it and go have some fun.

alybudhwani 01-17-2012 08:05 PM

phew, i was a bit worried there, gonna install it tomorrow!

Will take longer to get it out of the box than it does to install it!

Mine also said LS3. As stated above, it makes no difference.

yes. The L99 & LS3 are the same. The engine designation is only for the valvetrain difference (VVT).

Does this really make a difference?

The Stig 01-18-2012 10:46 AM

World of a difference.

JDP Tech 01-18-2012 10:56 AM

Yeah, about 99.7% of people say they definitely feel the difference, and really love them! And the 0.3% of people who didn't feel the difference won't give it back and want to keep it still.
I felt the difference when I put mine on my Camaro, awesome throttle response, and you gain a few horses and torques too! :headbang:

Feel free to call, email or PM anytime!

Anyone know where I can get one of the VMax's without doing the core deposit?

SC2150 01-18-2012 11:14 AM

You can send your core in first or purchase outright.
