Vmax throttle body problem
 

hey guys! i just got my vmax ported throttle body in the mail today and on the packaging it says LS-3

i have an l99 auto and im wondering if it makes a difference?

no difference... install it and go have some fun.

phew, i was a bit worried there, gonna install it tomorrow!

Will take longer to get it out of the box than it does to install it!

Mine also said LS3. As stated above, it makes no difference.

yes. The L99 & LS3 are the same. The engine designation is only for the valvetrain difference (VVT). :thumbsup:

Yeah, about 99.7% of people say they definitely feel the difference, and really love them! And the 0.3% of people who didn't feel the difference won't give it back and want to keep it still.
I felt the difference when I put mine on my Camaro, awesome throttle response, and you gain a few horses and torques too! :headbang:

Anyone know where I can get one of the VMax's without doing the core deposit?

You can send your core in first or purchase outright. :thumbsup:

Do you guys do the core exhange as well after install? I won't be able to send mine right off the bat as mine is a DD.
