I hear you! lol

ElektraSS 03-29-2012 10:28 AM

What's going on man! If you want opinions I will certainy give mine! I Like most of the list and mods, but I am not a fan of the razzi body kits, but if you like it go for it! I am more of a fan of the RK kits, but Lighting package looks good and some of the other items it should look and sound very nice! I would certainly price check the more expensive mods, and I would be happy to get with my buddy as well for price comparisons.

I already have razzi on lol too late to turn around on that.. and what prices should i look at?

cyberLS 03-29-2012 10:31 AM

should put this in the member car journals so you can update and keep track

ElektraSS 03-29-2012 10:37 AM

Well maybe I should have clarified which Razzi, they aren't all bad lol. I actually looked at your car and it looks sharp! they have one model out there that looks terrible in my opinion! I would at least price check the headers, exhaust, and wheels. It may not be much, but I have had a lot of success in saving money but at least price checking a few places! Even with the local guys like Whiteside might be able to discount better than others.

That's too much for no weeds? I looked off their website.

SamHouseIII 03-29-2012 10:54 AM

Catch can

Powhusku 03-29-2012 11:03 AM

You can get the VMAX TB for much less than that. You can do a core exchange and send in your old TB after you get your new one for and save $150+. Very worthy mod though! Buy it from one of the vendors on here and use the money saved to buy a catch can.

Sure. SC2150 sold me mine. He gives you a great price and can paint it the same color as your car. Here is his thread http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=183589

Here's a pic of mine with Cyber Grey Metallic paint.

RK spoiler. I like the anvil (you know that) but I think if you're going with carbon fiber, the RK is better looking.

Looking great DKD!!!

But don't do this... http://www.camaro5.com/forums/attach...1&d=1333120103 :confused0068:

Those drive-thru car washes will F' up your paint....Get yourself some Adams & a Porter Cable and do it yourself, you'll be much happier with the results.

DuhKoDuh 03-30-2012 10:41 AM

Ok cool thanks for the advice! But
what is a Porter Cable?

It's an orbital buffer, that makes it impossible to F' up your paint!!!
Go to Adam's website they have some great starter kits and also sell the Porter Cable, you can get the Junkman's special at a discounted rate (I think 10% off) He has a thread in the Car Care section

Here's his thread about the Porter Cable
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58925

Trust me on this, I got it and it's an awesome product, as are Adam's Polishes. Plus it's so much more fun to do your own car one afternoon. You'll get to see every part, scratch, and then fix it.

Edit: You can also find the Porter Cable on Ebay for a few bucks less, if you don't do a complete kit from Adams

Tomorrow, I'm dropping off my L99 at ADM Performance to get Stainless Works headers, ADM race intake w/ scoop, and a tune (getting rid of that stupid AFM:D)

----I have a muffler delete now, and Andy recommended I get the Magnaflow 3 inch exhaust because the muffler delete will be so loud. But I was thinking I should keep my muffler delete FOR NOW because I want to be LOUD and then if I get tired of it, I can always go back and get the Magnaflow... What are your thoughts?

-ANYWAYS, I'm happy my car will finally have some power and sound! I have waited too long for this!:D:D:D:D

updated w/ some videos...

camaro_RS 04-03-2012 08:32 PM

Yo man, nice build so far!!! Since everyone else is throwing their opinions out there I'll do the same and say don't do this http://emblempros.com/inc/sdetail/3445/11262. And if you are going to do it I've seen it done where it looks much better than that. Don't have a link for that though, sorry. Haha.

Also, IMO the RK Sport ground effects look good, but not as good as the Razzi. OEM ground effects (both the original and the newer ZL1 kits) look the best of all kits IMO. And the street scene kit.....looks probably the worst out of all the kits I've seen...not that they look terrible or anything.....just last on the list of all ground effects.

Keep up the awesome build, man!!
