Strut tower braces, are they all drilled ?

So I have a 2010. Is there anything on the market that doesn't involve drilling? I want a strut tower brace but don't want to drill any holes. Does anyone make some kind of bracket style one or something along those lines?

Thanks guys

if i'm not mistaken the GM official 1LE brace mounts into existing drilled holes in the engine bay

Most of the 2010 Camaro's didn't have pre drilled holes. I had to drill my own wholes. Didn't start with the pre drilled holes till late in 2010 and 2011 models. It's really not that hard to do.

Its either drill or duct tape for the early years.

You are mistaken. The 2010's and early 2011's were not drilled.

All the 2010's and the early 2011's do not have pre-drilled holes. GM didn't change the shock towers until the convertible went into production on 1-31-2011, which was a little over halfway through MY 2011.

Haha duct tape ! I plan on driving this car winter and summer. I'm just too worried about corrosion issues to drill holes in the strut tower. I friend did that in his car and he ended up with rust starting from the holes he drilled. Just scares me right now to do.

Hmm....good to know. I was always told "half way through" model year 2011 is when GM changed the shock towers and I never heard a date until now. I didn't know the convertible introduction was the transition period. It makes sense though. FWIW, my car was built in November 2010 and I have the old towers.

Are you adding the STB for fashion or perceived function?
