yes or no

i've looking at a possible upgrade and want to get the opinions of those in the know on the 2010 2SS. $30K still seems within reason since the miles are low at 1900. but just thought i'd throw it out there and get some feedback as a sanity check. if there are any deals better than this (vendors) please PM me.

thanks

2012's are now selling for $34k for the 2SS/RS package. $30k seems high for a 2010, IMHO.

This. I would say if they don't rip you off on trade in and you can get it for about 28 then it would be a good deal

I know a guy who got a 2010 2SS/RS for like $28k. I think you can do better even though the miles are low.

Also, is it stock and does it come with the warranty intact?

Not saying they are wrong, but I havent seen any 2012 2SS/RS's for 34k, maybe 35k. The 2010 only has 2k miles on it, but I would still think you can get em down to 29 or so

hapisok 05-30-2012 01:19 PM

awesome! thanks for all the feedback. yeah, i was hoping to get out the door with tags/title/tags for under $30000. no trade in right now. car is at the autobody shop waiting for the final word from the adjuster. was in an accident monday that set off both side airbags...nothing like ping ponging between a couple trees to end an awesome weekend.

Sounds a lil high if its all stock. Id try and get them down at least to 28k but with the low miles, its not too bad.

:word: The warranty won't last much longer on a '10 though as far as the Bumper to Bumper... but I'd want it to be GM certified... hard to know what someone's done to it.

Yeah, the IBM 2012 2SS/RS I was looking at was $39k. NUTS.

30k seems a bit high to me. I had a new customer come into the shop a month or so ago, just picked up a used low mile 2SS/RS for $26k. Beautiful car, nothing wrong with it that I could see to the naked eye...

I was blown away that he got such a price on a 2SS/RS, and a little disappointed at the same time as I paid $32,465 out the door for my RJT 1SS Sunroof car when it was brand new...

I can't find a 2SS/RS 2012 for even 35K...I am seeing them closer to 38 - 40 around here.

i'd leave little drops of poo as i walked away if i could get if for $26K...but not really likely here in VA. maybe if it had +20K mi's? there are great deals out there and a lot of it does depend on your location. not trying to get ripped off, but still be within reason.

thanks again for all the input folks. you rock :drinking:

I have seen a bunch of great cars being privately sold on C5 that seemed like better deals. However, if it's a Chevy dealership and you get the extended warranty and they give a great trade in, it might be worth it. Check Ebay for dealers selling Camaros...sometimes you can get a great deal and you can pick up the phone and call them. Since the dealer may sell outside of ebay you could save the ebay fees as well. You can also trade in sight unseen on may internet deals.
