New Holley Intake
I talked with Holley about this intake at LS fest and I'm pretty interested in it.
From the measurements that I can find I think it will fit under stock hood and cowl. Thoughts? https://www.holley.com/products/ls_p.../parts/300-135 |
I would be surprised if it fit a 2014 with the hood vent/tray in place .

Glad you attended LS Fest, its a lot of fun and you get to check out a lot of cool stuff.
Do you think that will fit under a stock hood with a throttle body bolted up? |
Any reason it wouldn't work on an L99?
|
Q. Will it fit?
A. I have seen pics of folks running the high-rise version, so the mid-rise version should fit. I would wonder about if a TB will be tight to the underside of the hood. I would also wonder if the factory harness has enough slack in it so you could plug in the sensors without having to extend any wires. Will the rear of it clear the cowl? Q. Will it make our cars quicker? |

I bet it performs as well as that FAST also.

Well I guess we are about to have answers to all of that. One will be on its way to me shortly.

The FAST intake fits with a lot of room, it's only a little taller than the stock manifold. That holley will fill up the engine bay real nice. Like a BOSS intake in the mustangs. Did i just say that on here? yes i did ! I have my eye on this !

I might consider trying one at some point too. But only after I make some runs with new heads and cam first.

Its a duel plane manifold so the runners aren't as short as you may think. They are actually fairly long in comparison to their Hi-Ram manifold. :) |
