5.0 vs 10 ss

A mustang owner is swearing up and down he will beat me.

5.0 stang not sure of year exactly, he has headers and a "Bama tuner", after market HRE rims i wanna say with worst tires ive ever seen(cheap tires from WALMART)

vs

2010 2ss/rs vararam intake, vmax tb, tsp 2 inch headers, no cats, slp loud mouth axle back, dyno tuned, running zl1 repos with 285 fronts 315 rears wrap in michelin super sports, 2 inch drop springs, hurst short throw shifter.

I am a far superior driver (5th camaro owned and lots of track experience) as he has let his car run on him while forgeting the e brake lol.
im sick of his bs and wondering if its even a race?

what rpm have people been launching at? no track on hawaii so havent got to run it yet.

You should eat him up from a dig. Roll would be another story he could pull you.

NYYFan325 06-20-2014 12:13 AM

I think you got him roll or dig

HEAVYCHEVY10 06-20-2014 02:53 AM

I'm wondering how it would even be a close race..

And what are the m6 cars launching at? I've seen around 2k and some say 4k

Bama tunes are junk...you have more mods but alot heavier so it's still a drivers race. If you are the better driver, you should win.

this, if your that much of a better driver you should win no problem

HEAVYCHEVY10 06-20-2014 12:39 PM

Anybody have any advice on the launching ?

HeavyIOM 06-20-2014 12:53 PM

Bama tunes are a joke! If you can drive you should beat him. I get the impression from what you've said that this guy couldn't drive an automatic if you put it in drive for him.

HEAVYCHEVY10 06-20-2014 01:09 PM

Yeah he's a typical stang owner and loves to run His mouth and not his motor hope to get a video up when it happens.

I don't get the typical Stang owner comment. Sounds like a typical tool bag that thinks his is better than everyone else's. You can't just classify that as a Mustang owner, as that is the case with every car. There have always been and will always be tool bags in the car sceen regardless of brand.

You have to admit though...the majority of them are Mustang owners.

HEAVYCHEVY10 06-20-2014 01:20 PM

Understand what your saying but honestly it always comes back to the stang owners or me. They for the most part are all the same.
