Tuners in or around Charlotte, NC?

My car is probably a month out still at the soonest but I am trying to finalize everything. I thought it would be cool to find a tuner that is a board member I thought I remembered seeing a post about someone off I-77. If nobody on here is a tuner I will take recomendations. I would like to find somone capable of installing my headers and exhaust, some slight modding might be needed, probably an intake and then tune the car. If thats not possible i can have the exhaust done locally and just bring the car.

I would also, I know there are lots of race shops/teams in the area, but I do not know of one. Great question!!!

What you mean by tuner? Shop or someone who has say, HP Tuners program? If that is the case I have a few guys in our LSJ club that have HP Tuners and do mine and other members tunes. Whether or not they can do it for a camaro I would have to check.

Tuner= Person who can dyno and tune cars and could tune my 2010 camaro. I really think I remember reading a board member that was off 77 it wasn't charlotte but i would be willing to make a trip.

I'm hijacking my own thread but how you like those vertical doors, i think everybody hates them on here for maro's but I almost did them on my civic, speed styles said they were mostly for show cars and not DD as they would need adjustment if used often. Do yours have to be adjusted? I don't think i would want them on my maro but I might get a cobalt one day for a toy. Saw one at a movie theater once and it had the automatic ones and he opened them walking up it was sweet, it was on a cobalt.

I have not had to adjust them yet and I have had them on for over a month. They have adjusters on them but we used thread lock after getting them as close to spot on as possible. They are manual though, I only paid 450 for them and put them on with my dad. Everyone keeps asking why I did not have autos, gets annoying. Yes that would be nice but the price is stupidly high, I could have a 11 sec balt with the money for a kit like that haha. It definitely turns heads, I try not to open them up when I am just going to places but if I have stuff to put in the car or whatever I have to lift them for more access since it opens just enough for a small guy like me to get in.

PCMforless up in mooresville, n.c. should be where you take your car to jpsuperman. i had an in-person tune done in my truck and love it. they do all gm vehicles. when i got my truck tuned, they were dynoing a trans am and tuning a g8 in person. i'd go to them.

Our shop located in Charleston SC will be up and running in the next few weeks with our dyno jet dyno and we have a in house tuner. We use HP and EFI live tuning software. Feel free to give us a call!

Any performance tuning shops around the Greensboro, NC area?? :iono:

Draco performance did my initial dyno pulls. They're a subaru heavy shop, but seem to know their stuff. One of their guys is off the Supraforums, hence me going there ;)

Does that have anything to do with the user Mr. Draco?

PCMforless!! Alvin is by far the best tuner I've worked with. I just got mine done there this week and to say I'm impressed is an understatement. He's not only concerned about max HP numbers, but the durability of the motor as well. They are located in Mooresville by the Mooresville Dragway. Check them out at www.PCMforless.com
