Is there an alternative to PDIM?

would like to be able to connect my Ipod to radio and operate it throu the radio interface. is there an aftermarket alternative to installing the PDIM and having it flashed at the dealership?

I have yet to see any alternative besides swapping out the deck itself. Kinda sucks that the PDIM doesn't work properly on occasion

I plugged my ipon in the other day, i could control all the music from, the radio, including playlists, albums, artists, etc. is that just a 2012 feature?

No its standard on cars with PDIM. In 2010-2011 it wasn't included on the lower trim levels.

I have it installed on mine and its been perfect. Couldn't live without it now.
