shift tables for gear swap

1 Attachment(s)
for you auto trans guys swapping to the 3.70 gears,, this is a 2009 cts-v file,, they come with the 6l90e trans and 3.70 gears,, these shift tables should help with the trans tuning after the swap,, should be able to copy and paste all the shift speed tables right to the camaro file

hptuners, use the compare function and select trans, then copy and paste from one to the other.

I wanted to look at your file but couldn't extract the hpt file from the zip file.

I think there may be an easier way; hi-light the entire shift table and multiply x 0.87 (that is 3.27/3.73) to lower all the shift MPH.

But does the trans have the same ratios as the 6l80e is the question.

ya, something is messed up when the file attaches to this site,, yes the 6l80 and 90 have the same internal gear ratio's,, both the 6l80 and 90 use the same valve body/module, same converter, the 90 is a little longer due to larger internals/ planetary gears

the cadillac cts-v trans will probly become a popular trans swap for the camaro if the 6l80's start failing

I think it may be worse than that - vehicle weight and engine torque at each RPM are VERY different. I think the normal shift tables will still need to be modified.

let me know if you want the file, ill e-mail it, there are also several of these files on the hptuners file repository, i verified they are the same as the file a pulled from this cts-v
