Rear Badge Delete?

I havent been able to get up close and personal to my car... I am in Louisiana and will be flying to Nebraska to pick up my 2ss 6M. I have already have them do custom stripes, but I also had them do some other things. I searched with no avail. Will the rear *bowtie* just come off with a heat gun and leave a smooth surface or is it an anchor style badge?

It is not anchored on. Glue only. Should come off with not too much trouble.

Removing the rear bowtie will expose the two alignment holes in the truck lid as seen here: http://www.mylrs.com/blogs/lrs/archi...mblem-kit.aspx

On the rear BowTie, i would remove it and fill the holes, sand it smooth, and then paint the panel between the taillights the same color as your stripes...

There are holes to fill.
