Are you turning traction control off? Auto or manual?

ckcamaro 08-29-2012 03:50 PM

aoto put in sports mode on traction

Drew10 08-29-2012 03:51 PM

Hold the traction button down for 8 seconds.:burnrubber:

At least this is what I do with a manual.

ckcamaro 08-29-2012 03:54 PM

gotta hold down the traction button for 8-10 seconds until you see 2 red lights on the dash.. This turns off both traction and stability controls. Then you can powerbreak.

You only need to tap the traction control button once, holding it for 8 sec also works but is mainly if you want to drift. tap it twice and the rev limiter is still set at 1k rpm.

If you want to burn out w/o holding the brake in the auto, you need to tune out some of the torque management, or wait till the tires and air temp are closer to 40 degrees.
