What Pads- Stock or HPS?

What pads are the best- the stock or Hawks HPS? I used the HPS on my 4th Gen. The cost is about the same.

Thanks.

Hawk HPS will perform considerably better than stock and dust less. Just be sure to bed them in properly.

I've been using HPS on my vettes and my new Camaro, nice pads for sure

are the oem pads not enough for your driving? if they are enough stay with them. If hey arent upgrade.

But you also have to look at it from the scenario that the OP's stock pads are worn out, and thus needs to buy new ones. So when OEM pads and the HPS pads are roughly the same cost, why not get the better (and less dusty...and quieter) pad?

are they the same price? i guess that didnt cross my inebriated mind. oem is pretty inexpensive. would love to tell people to run the best of everything but so very few actually need that.

if they are same price hps are a decent street pad. so is oem. some people have issues with oem squealing...i didnt but i bed pads properly and lubed all the parts that can be lubed.

i am running shitty duralast pads on warped oem rotors for the street ;)

The stock pads are about $130 dollars (front) on gmpartsdirect.com.

I am going with the HPS's.

Thanks everyone.

Hawk HPS are the right choice. We have them a bit less if interested!
