Getting whippled!

Just after finishing my jre rough idle cam install, it has come up that I'm getting a whipple supercharger:). I previously had an estimate from Ted on a street brawler package but at the time I only had cash flow for the cam kit. Well yesterday I chatted with Ted and ordered the rest of the items off the estimate. He figures with the 91 oct I should get to around 630-650 rwhp.
I'm so stoked, can't wait for it to come in and get to install it.

I would say that's a good estimate. Mine made 656 with a similar combination. The wait sucks, but your going to love it.

Catch can
Kooks 1-7/8 long tubes with 3" xpipe, no cats out to kooks mufflers
Bmr diff bushings,
Finally installed front sway bar (have a pfadt stage 3 kit. I installed last year)

Nice! The 3:91's alone will wake these babies up! Nice torque!

Not sure if Davenport will touch it, being JRE sold it????:iono:

That would be bad business if davenport turned away tuning business just because some one else sold it.
They should just be happy they have business coming in.

I don't see why Davenport wouldn't tune the car. Like you said it should not matter on whom you bought the parts from if you are paying them for the tuning.

fshog is right. We tried working with Ted when Davenport put in my new motor and Ted had built my transmission. There were problems with Davenport using hp tuners and Ted using SCT. The two shops worked very well and very hard together but the tuning language barrier between softwares was tough to overcome.

I would say if you bought the parts from Ted and installed them your best to go with his remote tune. (You know it will be good)...

If you want a dyno number, try to get in on one of those dyno days that get set up around the province every once in a while.
