COME ON CHEVY! (run Camaros in Nationwide)
 

Why doesn't Chevy put a DAM CAMARO in the Nationwide series. The other two enemys have there POS out there running around. What do you guys think?:mad0260: Wake up CHEVY!!!!!!!!!!

I dont think they would be able to do the Camaro justice with the design of the car.
Best not to bastardize an icon with a poor execution.

Because the Mustang and Challenger "stock cars" look like trash and GM doesn't want the same to happen to the Camaro.

If you want to run Camaros in a race series, run Camaros. Not generic shells with stickers.

I agree, I do not think they could do it justice with the current rules packages. It looks great in Grand Am, GTA, and Drag cars.

There is going to be a new entry for chevrolet in Nascar, but up until now your guess is as good as anyone else's as to what it will be. I have heard camaro, malibu, and even chevelle?

I believe that nascar is relaxing the cookie cutter cars for all brands across the board for 2013, that's why chevy will be changing things up a bit. Didn't Dale Jr. drive a camaro in a nationwide race a while back?

Here's a link to an article published by Rick Hendrick where he refers to a new nameplate for 2013 based on the "SS", not a camaro since he also references the fact that the car will be made in limited numbers unless demand calls for more, and it will be made in Australia. I wonder if this is the revitalized Pontiac G8 on a chevy platform?

They released spy shots earlier this week, it will be a chevy ss, thats it, just an SS

Well that's what they are calling it for now anyhow.

check out wiki and search chevrolet ss, it'll be above the impala in the line up. Will be available on showroom floors in 2013 as a 2014 model
