Southeast Regional End of Year Blowout - Nov. 19-20, 2010

OK--the venue is set. We will be returning to SGMP for our end of the year blowout!

Due to the time change and early sunset, we have arranged to have the cruise Saturday morning. So we will have a police escort to the track!!!!

Registration Fee - $20 per car (this covers the police escort and armed security for our cars for two nights).

We will start Friday night with some meetin, greetin, eatin, and streetin. (cruising)--to coin the phrase from Tusk
Dinner at Austins at 7:00 pm!!!
Saturday - breakfast on your own - but many of us are going to the IHOP, which is adjacent to the hotel.
9:00 am: Police Escorted Cruise starting at the hotel which will end at SGMP. Even in you're coming in on Saturday, come straight to the hotel and join us for the cruise to the track!
10:00 - 4:00 pm: SGMP gates open at 10:00 am with time trials and grudge racing from 11-4 pm. Tim at SGMP is setting up some special races just for us Camaro folks with a trophy to the winner(s).
($25 to race/$10 to spectate) Then back for more meetin, greetin, and eatin.

Sunday - Meet & Greet until you depart for home

Not trying to confuse anyone who has already signed up under the "Panhandle, Orlando, Tampa, Jax, AL, GA" thread, but wanted to let others know that they are welcome too!!! Just trying to get the word out to as many people as possible.

I'm working with the track manager at SGMP to get a couple of "specialty" races just for us. Possibly a 12 second and 13-second bracket race with a trophy to the winner.

I am currently working on getting another police escorted cruise through Valdosta, but if that doesn't work out, we will still be cruising, just may have to get more creative!

I'm also working on getting some coupons/discounts for local restaurants and shopping. Check back to this thread often for updated info.
