That sounds about right. Manual is accurate: 14/19

For the record - we observed 19.5 on a mixed trip in stick. Massive torque does have non-performance advantages when tooling around town. :D

Wow, I had no idea MPG on the ZL1 was that poor. No wonder it gets hit with the gas guzzler tax. I would have figured around 23-25mpg with the LSA.

16/26mpg? I'll be VERY impressed if they actually manage that good a mileage. I swear I recall not too long ago someone saying something like 14/20...Hopefully the supercharger and that much torque are keeping it low enough in the rpm's that it actually gets the 16/26 though.

tpower! the go to guy, would you happen to have the warranty guide on you, im sure people would like to know what it has in there concerning the track.

Those appear to be Canadian numbers (16-26mpg).
The US EPA Numbers must be less than that, otherwise, why the Gas Guzzler tax??

Just wondering....

It's because the Canadian rating uses Imperial gallons, which are equivalent to 1.2 US Gallons. There is a slight testing difference, but I suspect that makes less difference.
The mileage doesn't make that much difference to me, unless the competition is getting more power and getting better mileage.

That explains a lot, thanks! And I agree, if you can afford a car like this you should be able to afford the gas to feed it.

Why would we (Canada) use imperial gallons? There is no such measurement in Canada anymore. Everything is metric. We don't do fuel testing here to the best of my knowlege, so they would have to be converted US data.
