WHIPPLE SC Vs. MAGNUSON SC
Hi All,
I have a 2011 Camaro SS (LS3) and I am getting a supercharger this year. I have done a lot of research between the Whipple Supercharger and the Magnuson supercharger and I literally could go with either one. Therefore, I created this thread to get your guys opinions on your experience with either of these superchargers and what do you recommend My current Engine Mods are a RotoFab CAI and 1 7/8" ARH Long Tube Headers. What other engine modifications do you recommend to do at the same time in order to maintain the engine's durability. Thanks Josef |

I'm sure all you will hear what is better, is what they have on their car. That being said, Whipple is better. LOL

Curious about this one myself. I have a tvs 2300. No complaints but it is working hard to push a 427 inch motor. I know there are many factors in considering what is going to produce maximum efficiency for a particular combination. I know ADM listed his opinion on what the best blowers were. Seems GM uses the smallest one possible to achieve the desired performance level. I know the power comes in differently for the whipple and tvs. Don't know what that difference is. I have no issue with the tvs . I could use a little more volume at this point but I don't have it maxed out by any means.

I like my Maggie...from JRE as well. I am at 650-680rwhp depending on dyno, I am on stock bottom end for a couple years now but only about 10000 miles but all driven hard and sporty driving. I am very pleased with the times at the track for an M6 and I think I still have a couple tenths left I in the car since my best time was run in the Florida summer heat. That being said I thought I was only going to go 550-600rwhp but I still crave more and almost wish I had went Whiple but they were brand new when I got my Maggie so I opted for the reliable brand with some history behind it on LS engines. Again very happy with the Maggie and it is all about our goals for the car.
