Anyone from Canada going to Camaro5 Fest?

Just wondering if any Canadians are thinking about heading down to the Camaro5 Fest in GA?

At this point I am 95% sure of my attendance. Room in host hotel and SS booked. Just have to book on Alaska Air, with my miles.

trying to talk the wife into going???????????????????????????:iono:

CanadianCamaro 01-10-2010 02:52 PM

Hey Hiney - If you're going, any room in your trailer for a 2nd car? I'm just not into the amount of milage that trip will pile onto the car that early into the season. Just my preference - call me crazy. I checked with 2 oc my clients that can ship cars. With the extra paperwork required for a temporary transport to the US and back, it was going to be $1500 even at my price. So that's no good. If I had a covered trailer.... I'd be going in an instant!

Just keep mentioning it in conversations like I did..until she broke down and gave in :happyanim:..I just kept telling her it was a one time thing and that I will not go again. Keeping in mind that we will keep going to the Oshawa events. Then I mentioned to the others and they(2 so far) too now are coming.

Good luck

Hiney...

I talked to you in all that Oshawa rain a few weeks ago. I didn't have my car then but I sure enjoyed listening to your Camaro mod stories. I will be meeting up with CynAgain in Monroe MI at the Cracker Barrel, 1101 Ternes Drive. I'd love to see that Transfomer of yours down there!

I thought about trailering it down there????
Cindy wants to drive it down there if we go????
I really want to go ... I don't like putting the miles on it either!
It will be fun! I like the idea of the caravan.
What about getting a room....Is it too late?

Wow...when I was going to ship a Vette from florida ( July 08 } I was quoted $1200 including all customes work. What about a 2 car trailer Scott?
Even better, a 5 - 6 car group trip. :headbang:
