Squeaky seat
 

Weird thread but I was wondering if anyone else had a squeaky driver seat. It's anoyying as hell and it squeaks on every damn bump I hit in the road.
I can't find the source of it and it's driving me crazy. Would this be something under warranty?

Warranty should cover this.

Hopefully they will give me a new seat!!

They arent going to give you a new seat. The track probably just needs to be lubed.

Ya I know they arnt but they better fix it shits driving me nuts and kinda embarrassed when chicks ride in my car and are like wtf is that noise haha

Mine squeaks when the seat is all the way back. If yours is like that, move it forward as little as possible and it will stop.

Iv tried every position and it still makes the noise I want to take it in but I hate leaving me car at the dealership I don't trust em

Anyone have a DIY on lubing the seat tracks? I get squeaky noises when I hit a bump or get out of the car. I bought some white lithium grease for the job but I need to know where to lube it.

I don't trust the dealership with anything. They scraped the bottom part of my leather steering wheel :(

Haha just install a louder exhaust on your car so that when you have a chick in the car with you all they hear is the exhaust and no squeaks or rattles. lol:cool:

Mine does but I think it is the leather rubbing around the plastic piece the electric seat adjustments are mounted on. Not sure if there is a solution for this?

I got the squeaky seat fixed. Apparently it is caused by a bent seat track, so they replaced the entire track with a new one. Problem solved.
