My neighbor has a 5.0 mustang and my other neighbor has a riced out honda civic with a fart can. Forget about the Honda but what does the 5.0 run, and can it pull me, a stock v6 LFX?

The new 5.0 is a close race with the SS, so yes you would get slaughtered

Yeah, like asked above, what year Mustang? Even a 2005 Mustang will beat you - just not as bad as the new ones. A V6 is for cruising and enjoyment for the most part.

Well it's not gonna be a 2005 since he said 5.0 (unless he's incorrect and just assuming all GT's = 5.0). Either it is 2011+ or pre 95 (I think that was the last year)

Short of going FI, I don't think "some mods" will even get him close.

We need to know the track layout
Like altitude , altitude change , ( grade ) temperature ,humidity , left &right hand turns ,bank angle and what kind/& conditions off the pavement
Then we can start talking

I'd put that Sky against a LFX on any track and any configuration ... That little car just flat out runs, in a straight line and even better with turns.
