Well done LPE, well done… Take your bow.

Thats it...im going to go work on my TA :D

I'm still not sure that I dig the 70-73 front grille & headlight designs because it's not very sleek & sexy looking at all, and I myself would prefer ram air over the shaker but other than that they hit the nail on the head. They went retro but kept it modern too without it looking like a directly rebadged Camaro like the Morgan car. Just wish they opted for a better front bumper design to complete the whole deal.

too bad the paint doesn't match... i like it, with the exception of the rims...

i think if someone took this design and brought it to a less "retro" criteria and instead made the car look a bit more... hmm, whats the term?

leave the interior black, insert REAL CF parts...
exterior could use a flat black paint job and dechrome the whole car
use Vossen 083s or VIP Marvelous wheels, 22x9 22x10, low offset, with a flat black powder coat or white spoke/black lip

the rest is standard... suspension, FI, exhaust, tint, HIDs, LEDs, etc...

It just doesn't look right to me... too much front end for the body of the 5th gen...jmho

X 2.

If that spoiler mounts with out drilling the sides, look out it's going to sell like hot cakes... :headbang:

GMfan454 10-29-2009 05:25 PM

Those rims ruin the car. But I like the rest.

BumbleDs 10-29-2009 05:26 PM

I think the rims were done very tastefully

I think the front end sticks out a bit too much. It makes the headlights look too sunken in.

And my problem with the wheels isn't particularly that I think they're ugly .. I just think that you could stick something nicer on there. Like some Foose Nitrous wheels or something. Or at least paint them.

Otherwise I think the car is pretty good. But really it doesn't need to look TOO retro .. maybe stick a bigger shaker on there to fill out that hood .. Some LEDs in the tail lights maybe ..

Overall I do love it. I think I would buy it.

If they still built them I will bet GM would have made it just about like the LPE.
I say good work and they will probably sell a few. LPE pulled it off really well, Good job guys!
