ordered a 2011 camaro conv...
I ordered a 2011 camaro conv on new years eve.. The Chevy site is now showing the dealer has received an order # from Chevrolet and once your dealer has an available production slot your order will be scheduled for production.. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN???? Thanks... :0)

A dealer can order all the cars they want however, unless they have allocation, the order will not be accepted. Hopefully this is not the case with your order however, it seems to happen more frequently than expected! |
What that means is as soon as your dealer has allocation to place the order, it will move into GM's system and the scheduling process will start. Until that time, the order is acknowledged by GM, but won't go anywhere. Allocation is the key here to see that order progress.
Congrats on your new order and Happy New Year:drinking: |
