13' 1LE VS 10' challenger R/T hemi 5.7
So... A buddy of mine has been running his mouth a lot lately about how he'll smoke me.. Blah blah blah. From his mouth alone. He has a cai netted him (20-25hp) and straight pipes and that netted him (5-10hp) no dyno or tune to back up these outrageous claims... Yet these R/T's are only rated at 372 @flywheel. He says supposedly he's running neck and neck with my numbers and can drag my ass..! My current mods are intake, x-pipe mid fabricated all the way back to the 40's original flows, with resonator delete ..Have not dyno'd since mods. Dyno numbers stock were 360whp & 355wtq on a very heat soaked motor. Temps were 100+. Also on a mustang dyno. Who wins?

Should be no contest. you should take him easily.
|
you should win hands down. He's also a lot heavier
|
His Weight = you winning
|
your putting to the wheels pretty much what he has at the crank... and that's through 3:91 gears... AND you weigh a considerable amount less. Your going to smoke him as long as you can manage to not greenhorn it.... even then I bet you could start your car, easily pull out to avoid greenhorning again and run him down. The R/T's are painfully slow. Pretty to look at however.

R/T Challengers make me lol.... Even when my 02 z/28 was stock with 2.73s I walked away from those turds.

There's a YouTube video of a new Mustang V6 spanking a R/T Challenger...

Lol that's what I figured all hands down. No green-horning here. I can row a camaro, slip the clutch if I start spinning without even thinking about it. Supposedly he smashed a 12 or 13 5.0. This week. I started lol'g my ass off
