ZL1 at Drag Strip

Wasn't a set up race, I just got in staging line at test and tune and this guy in a Goat(GTO) decided to run me. I smoked him, so he said "Let's go again, but opposite lanes." So that's what this picture was, opposite lanes didn't matter so much, still smoked him. But I didn't even know I had a buddy up on the tower taking pics, he posted it on facebook and I had to make it my profile there and here because I just thought it was so cool.

3,2,1, Smoke the Goat

Taken at Holiday Beach Raceway near Birmingham, AL

I don't know what to tell anyone, this was an attempt at sharing this pic which is in my avatar and profile, I guess I'm mentally hilarious when it comes to computers. Anyway, maybe I'll agian some other time. I can see the pic on my computer and my phone.

I think I had some privacy settings changed, and I think I corrected them, but if anyone has any suggestions, by all means feel free to share them.

If you are going to share a photo you might want to post a larger size other than your avatar. The analogy I can think of is like telling a joke to yourself!

Thank you Mr. Wizard, it is a larger size of the picture, I don't know why it isn't showing up, hence I messed with my settings blah blah, so I don't know what it is, when I look at if from my end there is this big full size photo in the post in addition to the avatar, it's the same photo

Why it's not showing up for anyone else I don't know

Looks good from the booth view! What times did you lay down?

1/8th mile track. Well I'm a little embarrassed to say, that I'm hovering around 8.54 as my best time, and it's a manual. Honestly, I had my guy with me on that run in the photo, a little more experienced drag racer, and somewhere between my launch and shifting we feel there is close to a 1/2 second that can be made up with no mods, but about to put the Rotofab CAI that came in from Juiced today on the car right now, so I'll never know what my best stock time is on a 1/8th or a 1/4th. Fine by me.

You should be able to get a 8.0 bone stock no problem. Get the launch and shifting perfected as you stated. 1.8ish 60ft is possible with the stock tires if you air them down to 22 psi and heat them some.

I ran a 7.88 100% stock with a 1.8 60, but with a A6 on my very 1st. Run.
Also in the 1/8th

Guess you slept at a holiday inn the night before the drag race!
