no car cover for me.

I picked my 2LT/RS 45th w/ sunroof up on Chevy's 100th birthday also - (11/3/11)

I have a dustop cover. It's for indoors only but it's good protection so it doesn't get scratched up in the garage and will keep most of the dirt to a minimum.

A matching Car cover would be really nice!

I have a 2SS 45th on its way to Texas on a train somewhere, and have no plans to get a cover. I have one for my 2000 vette that I bought when that car was new, and only ever used it once.

Captainjapan 12-07-2011 05:32 PM

When you cover your car for the winter, does the cover produce condensation and could that be an issue for the paint?

Lookin good! I see you replaced the DRLs/fogs with HID bulbs. Which bulbs did you go with?

Also like what you did with the bowtie. I've been contemplating doing my bowtie in red to match the stripe. And considering doing the same to the gills.

Thanks. I went with the P13W's from phastek performance. Only took 15mins to install both. As for the bowties, I almost went red too, but I changed my mind at the last minute. Bowtie overlays were purchased from bigworm motorsports. More mods coming soon. Please check out my thread: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...11#post4111011

I got some P13Ws as well, and the install looks fairly easy so we'll see how it goes.
Sub'd to your thread as well. :chevy:

Yea, custom side stripes. Here's some fuzzy pics:

hightower 12-07-2011 08:29 PM

That's a very cool custom stripe! I love how it relates with the "45" and bowtie.

Thanks. I just wanted to individualize it a bit. I also had the engine cover and fuse box painted and hydrocoated by emblempros and I added the 45th fender emblems and 323 HP lettering. Here's some pics:

How many other (regular) camaros do you see on a daily basis?

I'm wondering how many of the 45th owners are planning on going to Camaro Fest 3 in August, we will have to get together out there for some photos, I'm wanting to go, however it's difficult for me to schedule time off this far in advance due to my work but I'm planning on going

It's a 10 hour drive for me from GA. I doubt I'll be able to go, although if enough people from GA decide to go, I might end up doing it. :iono:

And it would definitely make for a bad ass picture, all our 45ths! :chevy:
