flowmaster series 10 on v6 assistance needed

Want it deeper dnt like the sound during the inital start up. Then after bout 2500 rpm gets ricey.

Need recommendtions, res. Removal, x pipe wat? I ordered my intake already

I would go with an MRT 2.0 Axel-back for a better sound if thats what your after.

EDIT: Cat back to Axel back

Unfortunately, our LLT in design will produce that rasp that no one like at higher rpm's, but the good news is that there are some smart folks who have went to the drawing board with the rasp in mind and have designed exhaust systems to cancel out those bad frequencies. Some have chosen the right muffler from the jump and some have already added the perforated x-pipe. MRT v2, Corsa, ARK, and solo are all in my opinion very good rasp free exhausts.

Another option would be what I like to call "too late" route lol. Like myself have purchased a system without knowing the outcome and had to end up modifying to get rid of the rasp with magnaflow perforated x-pipe.

It look like your in that "too late" category unless you can return it somehow, but if not then you might want to consider the x-pipe.

The MRT systems are axle back systems, not cat back...

and to OP... I would look into adding the Magnaflow "resonated" x-pipe...

They have the 2 1/4" and 2 1/2" version. I think the one I have which is 2 1/2" is part number 11834. Go to magnaflow website and look for the one you need which is probably the 2 1/4" version if you still have the factory mid pipes and write down the part number and start looking online for a good price. I see them going from around $80 to $100 plus. Ebay is a good place to hunt for bargains too.

You are correct, my mistake. I got ahead of myself thinking of cat backs and axel backs.
