Kid Rock gets Camaro SS for 40th birthday from Chevrolet
 

Was at the Kid Rock 40th birthday show last night at Ford Field. During the show they had Jimmie Johnson on the big screen wishing Bob (Kid Rock) a happy birthday and he then said Chevy gave Kid a new Camaro for his birthday. The car was covered on the main floor. They then uncovered it and it rose up about 7-10 feet and spun around on some sort of lift. Had a number 40 on the side, a "Made in Detroit" fuel door. and a "American Bad Ass" logo on the hood. Kinda cool, even though he could buy all the Camaros he wanted.

For what it's worth, I thought he put on a phenomenal show and I'm north of 45.

I have seen him 14 times through the years, and yes he puts on a great show!!!

Technically it is "Made in Detroit" being that GM is a Detroit company, but it is "built" in Oshawa, Canada. Maybe I'm a little biased being from the "D"

Money still ends up in Detroit. After the gov gets their cut. :P

It has "American Badass" on the hood. Kid's going to be after my Michigan vanity plate now! My plate is suposed to read "1 BAD SS" but it's always interpreted it as "1 BAD ASS"

Technically it isn't because GM is incorporated in Delaware, their share holders meetings are held in Wilmington.
