See the Camaro in STL!

Hey guys, if you haven't yet heard of the epic journey, click here to see the thread elsewhere on Camaro5: http://tinyurl.com/hi-ho-camaro

We'll be passing through St. Louis on Wednesday and would definitely love to share the car with anyone who can make it out. Can you guys recommend a Chevy-friendly speed shop in STL, and would anyone be free to check out the car around Noon?

Let's hang!

I'd love to check it out. Assuming it's within 30 minutes of Creve Coeur (where I work) I'll be there. Sorry, but I have no suggestions for a speed shop. I'm not that knowledgeable about such things.

Whoa?!!? Did you say Wednesday?!?! Perfect timing! I just asked for that day off!!!!!! There's Johnny Londoff Chevrolet 314-837-1800 in Florissant right off HWY270, Lou Fusz Chevrolet biggest dealer of all manufacturers 314-997-3400 off HWY 70. Dude you say the word and I am there, had this car ordered since the morning of 10/13/08 and still haven't had the pleasure of seeing up close except a roped off car show. Bring it!!! Weber Chevrolet is right around the corner!!! Pick one i will def be there!!

Hi,

Just got dome talking to Adam about this. On Wednesday, April 22, at the Weber dealership at Olive and 270 in ST. Louis

He has arranged it with Weber to show the car there for a short time. He should arrive around 11am. Not sure how long he can stay, but this is where and when he will be.

Hope to see you there..

Man, now you really made me wish I had mine now too. What time will you need to head back out on the road? Will you have time to stay at weber for a bit and still take in the speed shop? At this point, I'm not sure I can do the speed shop portion of it, but once I get to weber and get caught up in the excitment, you never know what I'm capable of doing that day ;)

To be honest, we're somewhat constrained on time -- but if the Tulsa/OKC crew doesn't speak up, we might have to make STL our signature stop on the trip.

I don't think it would be smart to stay in STL past 2:30 or 3p at the latest. I probably wouldn't plan on spending much longer than an hour and a half at the dealer... but I know we have to give you guys a fair window to stop in.

We're doing our best to pin down the travel times. :)

Sean -- I wish we weren't so strapped for time. Thanks a ton for the offer. A shining example of how the owner community can be the most important part of owning any car.

Jimmy, I'll add you to the list of possibles!
