Read your states statutes. In some it's legal, in some it's not, in others only if it's not blue or red.

I like the Putco products. I am not crazy about how far they stick out. Do the knight rider lights stay to the just on position on a setting, and what colors do they have?

I have the red knight rider lights on mine. I got pulled over for it and was told it was illegal and that it was considered impersonating a law enforcement officer. Luckily I have a badge on my plate so the cop let me go. So in Florida as far as I know it's illegal.

Underglow lighting is legal as long as the bulbs themselves can't be seen.

If you do an ebay search you can see what colors are available. As far as I have seen, red, blue, amber and white.

kinght rider light

What is the best kind to buy? I have read where moisture gets in and ruins some of the cheap ones. I looked on the Putco site and couldn't find one. Thanks for the help.
