Read through Darth_Emma's journal and saw the Barton pistol grip shifter for automatics. Ordered one with SS/RS on it. Shipped out today :)

My first F-Body was not a Camaro, but a Trans Am. It was a 1977 Silver/Red automatic (Silver Streak). I had a 10-foot, two seater, GW Invader, flat-bottom speed boat with 50hp Mercury outboard motor painted to match (silver with red decal). I cannot find a picture right now, but I do have pictures of what I consider my real first F-Body, a 1978 Trans Am with T/A 6.6 220hp/325tq, Hurst 4-speed manual, radio-delete option car. I ordered it without decals and had the dealer put the gold decals on the car. It had black vinyl interior. I wanted biggest/baddest engine and no frills. I drove the car for 10 years. It caught fire and burned while a friend was driving it. He was not hurt. Here is that car:

I just installed my new Barton shifter for automatic transmissions on to 'Silver Street'. It has the SS/RS logo on it.

It should not be much longer before I can schedule the installation of all the goodies in my signature. I did ask them to add a silver billet catch can since they had those in stock. Ron at Vengeance said everything is in stock but the supercharger, and it should be in soon.
