First Time at the strip tonight...
 

I was having difficulty getting the power to the ground, but had a really good time. After I quit being nervous (first two or three runs) I started getting the hang of things, well, that and it started cooling off. It was still over 80 when I started. They use a pro tree here, on auto start, so it's a little intimidating. There is almost no time once staged. I finally ended up forgetting about getting a good e/t and just focused on my launches.

My last run was my best all night. I'm sure the temp helped, but my 60' was dramatically better that time as well...but it still needs lots of work.

My car is an M6, and I launched with traction control off, but stability control left on with tires at 22 psi.

I'll post the slip tomorrow, I'm tired. One last thought though, I wonder how much of a difference it makes being at ~2000 ft.

Next time don't worry about cutting a good reaction get set and let the light go green and then launch when your ready. Remember your time doesnt start until you trip the beams so you will just have a crappy reaction time but who cares.

I found that if you leave the nannies on it will kill your HP due to pulling timing. For the best runs you need to shut everything off but you will have no help from the computer if you get loose.

At that elevation alone you're probably losing .2-.3 and 2-3 mph and that's not taking into account the actual density altitude, humidity barometric pressure etc...
