White Camaro SS IVER spotted on hauler

I found this on another site. I think this is the first time seeing an RS/SS.

If cocaine was a car... it would look just like this!!! PURE SEX!

dayvedayve 08-29-2008 01:03 PM

That is the same plate and white numbers on the white car spotted in traffic in this thread.

JEFF2010SSMANUAL 08-29-2008 01:05 PM

NICE CATCH. I still wonder why the white isn't available until July 09. That sucks.

MerF 08-29-2008 01:11 PM

Is it an IVER car?

GTAHVIT 08-29-2008 01:27 PM

Nice!

Halo's.... mmmmmm

Scotsman 08-29-2008 01:34 PM

That looks bleep'n HOTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:happy anim:

That looks like a V6 through with the SS mailslot in the hood, because it has the V6 lower front air dam. No? Also the brakes don't look as big as the Brembos.

2kwik 08-29-2008 01:43 PM

Is that a SS fascia i'm looking at!? This car is so gorgeous... :happyanim:

2kwik 08-29-2008 01:52 PM

I can't stop looking at it... and seriously, i'm starting to really like how white looks on this car... things are going to get very interesting come time to pick out a color:help:

linkwpc 08-29-2008 01:52 PM

Two clues for me are the front fascia and the brakes, which don't appear to be Brembos.

Kahlis 08-29-2008 02:02 PM

What's w/ the black side views on a white car?

You're mistaken. That's the SS front end, the bottom lip is a dead giveaway. And there's really no clear shot of the brakes to assess them being Brembo or not.

Congoman775 08-29-2008 02:09 PM

The best, easiest, and most efficient way to tell the V8's from the V6's...

....

the mail slot on the hood. stands out on any car that has it.

rolnslo 08-29-2008 02:11 PM

I say they are Brembo brakes. The ones on the white car fill that 20" wheel a lot more than the ones on the Yellow car from the reveal.

Plus, look at the caliper design.

i donno the car looks great, but i cant worm up to white on this car.... seems like white only looks good on imports these days....

rolnslo 08-29-2008 02:17 PM

And here is a shot of the brakes on the Red LT/RS revealed in July. The white SS is definitely wearing Brembos.

mmmmm The smell of fresh pics! I like it!:) :)

I cant wait til they are being shipped to our local dealerships, and we see tons of them! I think we should still be in the obsessive about pics state and continue to follow them around like crazy people and take pics!! Who's with me?

+1.... I thought I was seeing things...

dayvedayve 08-29-2008 02:28 PM

I think its a V8. I agree with the speculation of those beeing the Bembro brakes. looks like a production SS bumper. True Dual exhaust (unlikely in the v6 - but if V6 does get true duals then yehaw) One think I wonder about the tires. If wonder if all the Camaro's that get the pirelli tires ( 19" and 20" )get the P-zero runflats or just the 20's on the SS?

fbodfather 08-29-2008 02:29 PM

It is an SS IVER.

RB43TD 08-29-2008 02:31 PM

The SS IVER makes me SH IVER. Lovin it.

runflats? I thought we were just getting standard tires with an inflation kit...

That is correct, as far as we know. But think about it...GM doesn't want a pre-production model sitting on the side of the road with a flat tire. Run-flats solve that problem. Can you imagine the heyday the press/blogs/mustang forums would have with shots of a Camaro broken down on the side of the road with a flat tire?

topgun1 08-29-2008 02:42 PM

damn man!! you just made my day! best pics I've seen on the net of the SS anywhere! looks like Pirelli P-Zeros and true duals possibly--sweet!
And am I seeing things or do the taillights look similar to afterburners with the red glow along the top of each one?

I sure wish the door handles were body color though. and hmmm.. no chevy bowtie or ss/rs emblems

good find

:headbang:

hahaha... but man, they're pretty expensive... maybe there will be an option and hopefully they will have a good bargain for them.... otherwise, it'll be the cheap (but not really) rubber, with a cheap inflatation kit for me...

thats because the brakes are bigger on the ss. they are only 2 piston on the v6.

so on the ss models are the mirrors all in black??

Integration Vehicle Engineering Release

outside of the industry (to most of us enthusiasts) it referred to as a test mule, Preproduction, or a beta car.:iono:

Delirio 08-29-2008 03:09 PM

I agree... that's definitely an SS.. just the brakes are not the proper St. Brembo's proper color... Front fascia and mail slot are enough to think that's an SS... even the RS logo is missing... considering the halos... Nice options the black side mirrors/lip

Why are people so incredibly short? Like they have something to prove? I get we are all very passionate about the car, but please spare the "I know what I'm talking about and you don't": attitude.

Seriously why do you keep saying it has a v6 front end or w.e. Its obviously a v8. You need to read up some more about the difference of each.

You really have no idea who you're talking to bud, if anyone has spent a fair amount time researching this car and participating in discussions on this forum I'm definitely one of them .That IS the V6 fascia. Plain and simple. It's not that deep fellas, seriously.

The_Blur 08-29-2008 03:32 PM

That is without a doubt the SS RS due to the mail slot and the slight bump over the fog lights. It looks glorious.
