I am really interested. Let me know any future developments. I would love to do the camarovan and just have fun.

I am wanting to make hotel reservations in sturgis and am thinking for an arrival date of the 26th. What date did you have in mind for leaving Spokane and heading there. I have a friend in Spokane that will be riding with me.

It depends on whether or not we decide to drive straight through or stop in Billings overnight. I'm for driving straight through and having someone along to swap driving duties. Some of these guys would probably want to stop and spend the night in Billings though. Also wondering about reserving a block of rooms in one place or let everyone find their own accomodations.

I am thinking about the holiday inn express in sturgis and I would be all in favor of stopping in billings. I think it would be nice to stop and have some hang out time with the other drivers. How many cars do you think are going?

Doing this drive in a couple of weeks but may be up for it again next year. Have done it all in a day before very long day but @ a little over the speed limit very doable. good thing in Montana less than 10 over only 25$ on the spot and not on your record. I may personnally know this :sm0:

It's been a while since I made that drive but it is a LONG stretch driving across Montana I remember. If we want to be there for all 4 days we'd have to leave Spokane early on the 26th, stay over in Billings, drive to and enjoy Sturgis the 27, 28, 29 and leave for home on the 30th.
Stay in Billings coming back too? Not sure if some folks wouldn't want to drive straight through coming home. No firm plans yet but does the above sound do-able?
I went ahead and booked rooms at the "Palace Express" in Lead SD which is about 16 miles outside Sturgis. They only have 7 rooms left and a few other hotels I checked were sold out. If you are thinking about doing this and staying in a hotel, better book soon.
