My sister found this great photo of my Mom and Dad and gave it to me for my birthday. That's my Dad's brand new 1961 Chevrolet Corvair Monza. This photo was taken shortly before they were married (thus Grandma's watchful gaze in the background) in Monrovia, CA. Dad loved that car but he had to give it up when the kids came along (my bad). The story is that my Mom thought my Dad must have been rich to be able to afford such a sweet ride.

Great photo Beemer. Did your sister give you a hard copy or a file? If you'd like I can clean it up, remove the few spots and scratches. PM me if you'd like.

I calls 'em as I sees 'em...Ladies back then were LADIES! They wore dresses and took pride in being pretty...much classier then than they are now...I wish I'd been born 30 years earlier..

great picture!

My wife's parents thought I was rich because I owned a house as a single guy. But I just wanted an attached garage :iono: But now they know that the house made me poor :P
