I am thinking of bringing a bio facemask.......

my allergies have been through the roof this year. I have also haven't had a real weekend in 3 weekends, so my body is absolutely exhausted. I am gonna have to take Thursday off and sleep the entire day if I can make it to Valdosta.

Once I get to Valdosta, I might just wear a freaking mask the entire weekend.........UGH!!

mine have been killer too! I am hoping with the different types of trees on GA that they will die down. I do have a good nasal spray that works good too...

Allergies SUCK! Whats the point?

Especially seasonal ones, I mean, I want to enjoy life for chrissakes!

What nasal spray do you use? I have zyrtec, but this has been very overpowering this year.

Check out this thread, there's a lot of pictures of the trees blooming in our area plus there are some links to the pollen forecast for Valdosta as well.

I had a great list of things to recommend for you guys, but in trying to get your quotes I lost everything I had typed. The best suggestion I can make is to bring your meds with you, and bring enough to take them twice a day (you might need too). When you first check in and every day you are there, leave your shoes at the door!!! Don't track the pollen onto the carpet. At the end of the day, shed your clothes as soon as you walk into your hotel room, right at the door. Put them in a bag and seal it up. Then jump into the shower and wash all that pollen off of you and WASH your hair!!! You don't want to sleep with the pollen. Bring some Febreeze with allergy reducer and spray down the surfaces of the hotel. We go as far as bringing our own blankets and sheets and bring extra sheets to throw over the sofa or chairs (army 30 years). You have to protect yourself and your hotel room is your safe area. No, I'm not crazy, I just have really bad allergies!

Good luck guys!
