Will the 20x10s fit on the rear for people who want to do a square, rotateable setup?

mgaspari 10-11-2012 10:04 PM

will my stock rear pirelli tires fit the front zl1 wheels for a cheaper alternative??

I totally agree, a polished clear coated rim would look fantastic. A personal note would be to eliminate any letters on the rimsAttachment 431949

Here is another chrome / polished rim picture. I like the bright rims more than the black rims.

This. I'd consider 20s if we can do this AND the weight is less than OEM.

No, that will be replaced by 'ZR28' as a note to our current and prior Camaro race cars.

I would suggest that it be "blank" and have a 'ZR28' decal that can be removed by the buyer if he/she chooses.

Road_Warrior85 10-12-2012 01:55 AM

I would also like to vote for no text at all on the wheel. I don't even like the idea of CAMARO being on the OEM wheels... blank would be my preference all day every day (even if I had a ZL1)

I for one could care less what they say. These will look great! These will sell like hotcakes the way they are!

The weight will NOT be less than OEM. These replicas are going to be pressure "cast" wheels, and supposedly the OEM wheels are Forged, with some people saying they are "rotary forged". Either way, a cast wheel will weigh more than the OEM.

Been waiting for someone to make these. Def not paying for the GM ones. Any packages with rubber on them too?

You got it, and yes it will fit base, SS, and ZL1's alike.

Something a bit cheaper than the stock Goodyears. Maybe a package with Nitto Invos, Toyo, etc.

One other question. Anyone know if these fit with no rub with a 1" drop springs?

front: Continental ExtremeContact DWS 285/35-20
rear: Continental ExtremeContact DWS 315/35-20

you can run these.. or you can use your stock rear pirellis for the front zl1 wheels and get these continental (315)for the rears.

Ivan @ Southwest Speed 10-12-2012 01:13 PM

Southwest Speed....IN.

Y'all are nuts!! LOL

LG makes a "ZL1" wheel that everybody has been bitching about wanting and not being able to get for a "fair" price and wants to sell it for $15-1700 and we still get "can you make it in gunmetal or white or polished or chrome or painted to match."

ZR28 is an LG Brand.....I'd put our brand on them too if I was fronting the money to have these made. :)

I'll bet they might weigh a whole 4 lbs more. Or 10 if you Chrome them. LOL. :)

Very cool idea/product. I am also curious about the weights, and what they would weigh compared to the stock SS 20" wheel.

ZoMBiE_KMF 10-12-2012 01:24 PM

Whoa!! I want!

Let me see what I can come up with as far as tire options and get some packages.
