Transmission Light??

My 2010 Synergy V6M6 camaro just sat in my garage for about a month while I was on travel for work. My pretty wife started it up a few times but only moved it in and out of the garage a couple times. (Before anyone asks, yes, I did the normal winterize/storage stuff).

I drive to work today and this morning, I don't remember seeing it but just now, driving home there's the transmission light... What's the most common problem associated with this? I have had some of the usual clutch/grinding issues as many others have, but never before a light. The light was solid all the way home, and even after I turned the car off for a bit and back on it remained lit.

I plan on making the call or maybe even taking to the dealer tomorrow but I wanted some input, possibly save myself the idiot check and whatnot.:help:

Never heard of it on here before. Off to consult the manual...

Consulted manual:

Service Transmission

This message displays if there is
a problem with the transmission.
See your dealer/retailer.

Not much help there. lol Oh well I guess the dealer should be able to figure it out. Have you tried OnStar? Perhaps they could give you more insight.

Well thanks for the response... Everybody else is too busy talking about what rims they want to give their input... Thanks anyway!
