Imagine If Someone Hit Your Camaro...

....While texting and driving.

ARGH. It would piss me off so much. You can't do anything about it, no matter how much you take care, because some stupid idiot can't put down there cell phone for a few minutes to keep lives (and nicer cars) out of danger!

I was just reading an article, and they interviewed some people, who really didn't seem to car and said they could do it. This kind of mentality really gets to me.

Not sure if that's what happened, but I don't see how else he could've not seen me...

Well, I'll put it this way: if I don't die, the other driver will.
I might be boasting a more insignificant '98, but it's my first car. Anything happens to it and it's not my fault, hell will come to earth.

iyam_lorne 09-01-2009 09:42 PM

Yeah that would be awful. Just a question. who here does text and drive?

Moorepheus 09-01-2009 09:44 PM

Have a watch....makes me want to keep my car in the garage.

Saw that awhile back. Poor Camaro. Poor you. :(

At least you're ok. Did you get insurance for it?

They should put accelerometers in all phones like they do in the iPhone then they can have it so sending/receiving text messages can be disabled if you are moving more than 10mph.

using a cell phone while driving (either texting or talking without hands free) is one of my ULTIMATE pet peeves, IF someone takes out either of my cars and I don't die, the other drive, regardless of age/sex/race, I would be going to jail for sure. For they would be getting the beating of their life!

Sadly I do occasionally but I never do if there is anyone within 10 seconds ahead of me or when I'm near an intersection.

SirBrad 09-01-2009 11:17 PM

I'm getting tired of all the idiots I see driving and texting. Put the phone down and pay attention.

Wow... that is an incredibly well-made video...

This should be a mandatory viewing for all drivers on a yearly basis.

I'm embedding it here:

(viewer discretion is advised)

(I've always wanted to say that)
