Too true. That is a terrible interpretation of a modern Camaro It looks like a 1940's Camaro....no, not a typo - sarcasm implied

I admit that I loved the look of the black Mustang GT, but when I saw this picture, fell in love with the Camaro and forgot about the Mustang...

That is an awesome pic....cool!

Mindz 04-10-2007 02:35 PM

I Agree. Camaro looks better than the stang looks better than the charger.

BumbleBee that is a nice pic....at least the 3 of them can sit together long enough to take a picture

Some people say they dont like the look of the headlights, but if you look at that picture of the Mustang, Camaro, and Charger, it looks like they are all going to have the smaller shaped headlights that are back in the grille.

The Camaro looks NOTHING like the Rustang. I hated the new Mustang since the moment I saw it, the "fog lights" on the GT look ridiculous. Where I live, you can't drive to our town square and back to my house without seeing at LEAST 6 Mustangs, whatever the year model.

I can't wait to park my brand new camaro RIGHT in the middle of them.:headbang:

The Challenger and the Mustang seem to be bowing in respect in that picture...don't you think. As the Camaro looks on in fond kindness.

I've always kind of liked the camaro concept, however i did not like the mustang when it first come out and it HAS grown on me.

anyone that thinks this looks like a mustang is an idiot.

I wonder if the above picture originated from a chop on a site or otherwise. If it wasn't a chop, you know there was a big debate over who takes the center spot...and look who come out on top and in the middle.

acscamarochick06 04-14-2007 01:21 AM

I'm pretty sure that I saw that pic in a car magazine...possibly Motor Trend or Car & Driver??? But there was an article that was comparing the camaro to the mustang, and there was some about the challenger but of course it was mostly Camaro vs. Mustang. I did notice that in all of the pictures in that article the Camaro was a nose ahead of the Mustang

Here's a link for Motor Trend where they have the virtual test between the Camaro and Mustang, if there's anyone that hasn't seen it: http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...st_animations/

I was very happy when I first saw picture's of the actual concept. But! When I finally saw it in person??!! WOW!

I always told the naysayers, "wait until you see it in person before making a judgement." Just about everyone I said that to commented back to me that their opinion changed and it was incredible in person.

As for that picture above with the Camaro, Challenger, and Mustang, it's from the cover of 'MPH' magazine. I have a copy of it in my "Save Every Magazine With The Camaro On The Cover File." :D

Mr. Wyndham 04-14-2007 11:24 AM

This is most definitly a chop, look: the Camaro is in almost the exact same pose as the Car at the top of the site in the banner...

And that's not real rain.

I guess I worded that wrong. Meant it more of like where did the pic come from? Was it found and chopped by someone on the web, or did it come out in a mag on the cover somewhere type of deal. The main point is that did the big three have to get involved in the making of the pic? If so, then, it would have been great to hear that conversation and find out how the Camaro took the middle spot.
