1. What are the standard emblems on a 2013 2SS 1LE?
   I.e. color, solid silver SS, Silver & black, silver & red, etc.
2. Where to buy 1LE emblems for the hood?

Build date: 5/12 ... 2SS + 1LE + RS + Performance Exhaust ... black/black

Red SS for an RS equipped car, white SS is standard.

Thx ... just like my 2012 2SS + RS ... will check on getting a 1LE emblem for the hood to match. Wish Chevrolet would have installed them like they did on the ZL1.

I did not know this. I always thought the color of the SS badging was based on the exterior color of the car.

We think the reasoning is the the ZL1 is its own model and our 1LEs are just an option... this reasoning doesn't hold water because the RS gets badged in someway on all models that have that option. :noidea:

emblempros for the 1le emblems

Since the beginning of the fifth gens the red was for the RS equipped camaros and the white for the non-RS equipped camaros.

Roger at emblempros.com told me today that they are approved by GM to manufacture the "1LE" emblems, but are still waiting on final contract signing to occur...then, we can order the emblems!

Is this still in limbo

Yes. I emailed Roger last night and he stated that he is still waiting on paperwork.

I've been getting the same response for over three months. It seems that GM moves pretty slow getting contracts signed. I'm thinking about going to a local sign/stripe shop and getting custom stickers made in the meantime...

Wait, can't Roger from Emblem pros sell the emblems for the hood any longer?

Don't think so. Some have them and the rest can't get any. I have a fealing that we will be waiting a loooonnnngggg time before we see any real emblems.

That sucks! I was excited to get a few.
