If you have a 2010, you will be stuck using the BMR because the Chevy one won't work.

Same is true for some early '11s....Couldn't tell you where they come from, but I think an adaptor kit of shims, spacers, what-not is out there so the factory brace can be used on the first version of the towers...

eeehhh WRONG lol. they will work with the 2010. but you have to purchase the bolt kit for $130-150 ish and the chevy strut bar will fit. i have a 2010 and it didnt come with the holes either.

There is an adapter kit out there which lets you use the convertible/ZL1 strut brace on 2010 or early 2011 Camaro's.

I recommend it. It does make the car chassis stiffer, which is why you see it on the 1LEs and ZL1s. Creaking eliminated when turning into driveways and other off camber stuff.

You need to buy the tower brace and the bolts. The torque spec is: 22 N-m (16 ft-lbs). 10 minute install. Install on flat ground.

You could buy a convertible, and the brace will come standard

the 2013 has the holes pre-drilled for the brace, it only took me like 3 minutes to install it. its a noticable difference when cornering and taking curves. plus it looks badass

Like everyone said, the factory GM strut tower brace won't work without buying the install kit so by the time you buy the GM strut tower brace itself and the install kit you end up with a strut tower brace that is close to $300. We have some more affordable strut tower brace options that will not only stiffen the chassis up but also help dress up the engine bay.

I bought a BMR strut brace and had it shipped to me unfinished. I had it chromed by a local chroming company. I like the way it turned out.

That looks bad ass! How hard is it to install the BMR? How is it fastened to the towers?

You have to drop the struts and drill 4 holes on top of the tower and bolt it on.
