Camaro Blueprints

Has anyone got hold of any blueprints for the new Camaro or some decent photos showing all the views (front, back, top and side)? I'm attempting a 3D computer model for my University project and they're hard to come by.

Please help.

Those are the only "blue print" pix I've seen as well. But, the exhaust on the concept is different than what we see here on the blue prints. Can anyone here verify that those cut away pix are of the real deal? I just had a fairly good discussion w/ someone else about this. Apparently, that person believes that everything under the concepts body panels is basically a GTO. I'd love to compare the two to see for myself. Everything about the new Camaro is just that....new. If anyone here has any input at all about the differences/similarities between the GTO and the Concept, please speak up!

I have read those images are of the Cadillac CTS and maybe the GTO as well

Mr. Wyndham 01-15-2007 08:52 AM

I could believe that GTO story, I mean as far as anyone knows, the Zeta architecture was still being build when the first concept came out.

and the Bumblebee car, there was an article that all they did more or less was slap a Camaro skin on a GTO chassis...don't quote me on that though.

yep, that was in the October 2006 HOT ROD magazine. I posted the info and pics on my website:

Yeah, Bumblebee was a GTO w/ new skin. But, I got into a pretty good "discussion" about its new architecture. Does anyone have pix of GTO cutaways to compare? I also don't know why I would compare it to pix of blueprints that we aren't even sure belong to the concept but it would give me a good start. I don't like hearing someone say that the concept is all GTO chassis...How could it be when GM just lengthened it to allow for the larger tires??? It's obviously it's own architecture.

The concept coupe (I assume convertible as well) is mostly Cadillac CTS chassis.

....Beat me to it

Depending in the package you use (I use Solidworks), you could bring the photos of the views you need into the CAD package and scale them up or down to meet a known dimension and trace pertinent features. I have done it on similar projects
