V-8 Engine Break-In (Any GM Engineers Out There?)

Hello all!

Any tips on breaking in my new SS? I've heard different things, like "take it easy for the 1st 5,000 miles"

I've never owned a GM product, but I know that powertrains are something that they do right, so what are the do's and don'ts for a 2010 Camaro SS owner? LS3 with stick, if that matters.

Also, does anyone know if the car comes with Synthetic Oil? I'm a huge proponent of it, and use it exclusively in cars I buy. Do I need to change the factory oil out?
