thinking bout ordering oracle concept mirrors?? is it worth it

Is the mirrors hard to wire up for the turn signals and parking? I know the harness is plug n play jist wondering if its a pain in butt to wire in the ped lights thats associated with the mirrors thx!

I am actually doing this mod but doing with Mirrors from Blacky. I think they would look good on your car and most seem to enjoy them.

I kinda want the easy way out, dont care about the led part, is blacky version plug n play and simple if so i want em

Jbcamaro 06-05-2013 10:27 AM

They aren't completely plug n play

I wouldnt buy anything from AAC. Everything they make is garbage.

Don't believe Blacky's are plug and play - that and you'd have to wait a bit as he custom makes them and then they have to get shipped here (he's in Germany).

My AAC mirrors turned on whenever the parking lights (and/or the ambient lighting) turned on.

Ok...how does that help answer the OP's question? I mean I get that people have hit or miss experiences with AAC, not going to argue that.

The harness for the heated mirror and motor function is plug and play. If you want the turn signal/parking light function, you need to wire that in which is easy.

I love my mirrors. I have lots of AAC products and haven't had any issues with any of it. The people at AAC are great.

Yes, AAC = Oracle. And all you have to do after plugging in the harness is t-tap into the ABL wires. Takes all of 10 minutes.

So u tap into the anti brake lights for turn signal? Ok where do u tap into for the parking light led thats on bottom of the concept mirror? Also if the leds in these mirrors go out how do u replace them and whats life expectancy

anti-brake lights? I didn't have mine wired for the turn signals so I couldn't tell you. Also never had any LEDs go out, so having to replace them never came up for me.

Also - reason I no longer have them is because my car was totaled, nothing was wrong with my mirrors.
