295/40 18 on 18x11 or 18x10?

First and foremost let me tell you that I hate the way stretched tires look on wheels. I have a set of 18x8.5/18x11 Forgestar f14s on right now and need a second set of rear F14s. My drag radial tires are NT05R 315/40 18 and they fit PERFECT on the 11" wheel. Since the Nittos have a tread wear of 00 (yes, double zeros), I ordered some 295/40 18 Falken Azenis tires that have a tread wear rating of 200. I know ordering another set of F14s will take a while so I went ahead and mounted the 295s on my 11" wheels for now to save the wear on my 315s. Well, now I don't think know what size wheels to get for the 295 tires. I was set on an 18x10 because I new a 295 on an 18x11 wheel would be stretched but it is right on the line of it looking too stretched or acceptable.

So should i get a set of 18x10s for the 295s or a set of 18x11? I want the 18x10 so the tire won't look stretched, but what if someone comes out with a 305 or 315 street tire later and I'm stuck with the 10" rears (the 295s were the widest non drag radial tire I could find close to the diameter I need) . AHHHHH! Decisions, decisions.

Here are the pics of the 295s on the 18x11 rears. The last pictures show the 315s mounted on the left, then the 295s mounted on the left.

Rear shots of both tires just for grins.

Wow, I'm surprised those 18" wheels can fit over those rear brakes. Anywho I thought the Perfect size wheels for 295 wide rubber is 10.5" wide wheels. But if you are planing to add more tire down the road than go with 11" wide wheels, It should be fine.

There in lies my dilemma. For me the perfect size for a 295 is 10" wheel, no one makes a wider street tire, but what if they do later. Plus I like the idea of rocking an 11" wheel in the rear on the street.
