The Full Purchase Process. From a lease to a new financed camaro.
 

Question for the Dealers.

Can some one explain the full purchase process in regards to ordering, deposit, financing, returning current lease vehicle, paperwork, delivery, driving off the lot?

Do I have any of this right?

1) Go to dealer. make sure they are at or under MSRP and have allocation.
2) Give them a $500 deposit
3) Build order and submit
4) Wait
5) Wait some more
6) Get your vin from camarotracking when its ready and start working on insurance.
7) Deal with financing with your dealer.
8) Get the magical call that your car is at the dealership.
9) Return your current lease vehicle.
10) Lease gets inspected for damage (if some then what?)
11) Sign final paper work
12) Drive it like you stole it out of the dealership.

Looks about right :thumbsup: You may want to
make sure your financing is in order prior to the
cars getting ordered, unless your credit it spectacular
and there's no question.

So if I walk in and get financing same day that I place the order, Does that mean I have to have my full down payment ready at that time? What if I can come up with more money to put down between the order and the delivery date. Do I have to redo the financing at that point. I ask because with the 8 weeks between order and delivery I could probably come up with another grand or 2 to put down.
