whats a twitter?

smartalec 05-11-2009 10:25 PM

Basically u post updates and read other people's updates. Similar to a facebook but bulletin only. Many companies already use it and it's a great way to get news.

then i vote no, i like the way camaro5 is

smartalec 05-11-2009 11:15 PM

I wasn't saying change the site, just in addition to, as another way for us twitter users to get news

I've always thought Twitter was about the dumbest thing the human population ever dreamt up.

I used to have a Twitter...why I got rid of it...cause of the new Camaro which has a long story...but Twitter is a new generation thing...the "older" folks don't get it...but I think it would be great!

Same as texting...young people LOVE it...but older people don't...same as Twitter

Isn't that what the e-mails are for?

I'm 25, and I still don't get it. I could care less that you're currently picking your nose, what you're thinking about, etc. If I want updates from the website, I'll subscribe to the RSS feed.

People are obsessed with what their neighbor is watching on TV, or what type of shoes they have on. Stupid.

I'm young too ... I'm not a fan of twitter or texting. I don't 'get it', and I'm glad I don't.

Ditto what's already been said by so many already.

The younger generation needs to learn to chill out and not be so freakin' inter-dependant. I see my nieces with the cells constantly texting. It is a disease in my opinion, and should not be allowed by parents. They never learn how to enjoy alone or quite time to reflect. It is making a generation of neurotic geeks, that cannot make decisions without texting a friend for a second opinion...........sad........very sad. Get a life already, with the texts and twitters.
