That salesman is FOS.

Did he also tell you it was a 1 of 1 and worth a zillion dollars?

That's what I said.

Sorry, must have posted while I was typing.

Also installed houndstooth interior which is actually the first one I have seen and it doesn't look too bad. Ask dealer to call previous owner and get his view on if the dealer is taking credit for his work.

As DG said, "Z/28" is a registered trade mark of GM, so someone has created an "unlicensed" copy of the emblem as both a badge and an heat-stick embroidered emblem.

GM might be interested to know who that "someone" was...

Wow. Sorry. Its a 2011. I didn't know the mileage unitl I found the listing. Sheesh.

Shu71 09-15-2011 01:05 PM

It's hard to tell but are they repurposed older Z/28 emblems? If that is the case, then GM couldn't say much about it. They are not advertising as them installing the options at all so I doubt they did it but it really does not matter as they are not claiming it to be anything of the sort.

Looks like 1st gen. emblems. It would look better without the bowtie. ;)

I agree, maybe the new Z/28 can be optioned with it. :D

Oh and the left front tire is low on air:)

All in all, I think it all looks pretty cool if your vision is to bring more of the 69 history into a fifth gen. Price seems really high for a used 1SS though IMO. Thanks for sharing OP.

In the dealers description it says "Z28 Camaro." So they are claiming it to be a Z28, whether they put the emblems on there or not. You guys trying to beret the OP for posting this need to calm down lol.

It's true I saw that car at that dealer in Senaca SC visiting my mom and pop.(on the lake)
