Blindsided by the State Police! Man o Man !

Man your not going to believe what happened to me today! Well I must regress a little first.Last week I was cruising thru town, a very-very small town in Michigan which just happens to have a State Police Post in it.I looked over into the parking lot and there set a a early generation I believe 1991 State Police pursuit car.I said to myself WOW how often would that happen? I sped home with the wifes Yukon  to get my CAMARO and my digital camera. I said to myself, boy am I going to document this , side by side pictures for all to see.Well let me tell you the dissappointment that I experienced when I returned was beyond description. The car was gone.So I return home and call the post and inquire if the car was just passing thru or?The officer stated that it was brought in for the local fair and would be on display inside a tent on the gated fair grounds and then would be leaving the area. :mad0259: I thanked him and chalked it up as a loss.Fast forward too today.I went downtown to pick up the Sunday paper and look over at the State Police Post and and low and behold there it set once again. Was it meant too be or what?I make a beeline home once again in my wifes Yukon  too pick up my Camaro and my camera and race back and took a deep breath and believe it or not it was still there! So I check the front door too the post and it was locked thank goodness.I peeked thru the windows and saw no one in sight and said oh boy I have some time as they must be out to lunch.:w00t: So I preceded to take probably once in a life time pictures with mine and theirs.I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I do.:coolpics::coolpics::coolpics::coolpics::coolpi cs::coolpics::coolpics::coolpics::coolpics::coolpi cs:

That's awesome I wonder if they only use it for show.

Don't really know. The first call to the post the officer was very helpful but did not disclose any other information.Where it came from, where it was going and or where it was stored at.It appeared to have been used,( joy rided) ? Oop's. driven on backroads as it was spotless the first time I saw it and today it had mud splattered all over the lower body front and back. They problably took the long way home from the fair grounds.Seeing how the roads are all paved too and from the fair grounds

OP... very cool and I am partial to that color! ;) I bet if you'd asked they'd let you get a better photo. Cops are generally pretty cool as long as you are not acting a fool!

One from a local show. I believe this was actaully a 1990 IROC. very few of these made. Stopped production in December 1989.

wow, if they are still using a 91'...
the size difference is something else. i mean, i never thought of my 3rd gens as small!! most of it is the height of that hood though.
jr that looks just like the 90' i had, except for the lights.
