if it has been 'revealed' at a giant car show, I would think it probably would make an appearance at the Fest.

Yes, I'm sure there will be quite a few 6th gens at the fest. I doubt they will wait till fest to reveal it.

We will see the 6th Gen well before the Fest. I have no doubt GM will bring a few. Deliveries of 2016 models should start in late August - early September.
